Under the supervision of the Head of School and in collaboration with the senior classroom teacher and assistant teacher(s), the Elementary Teacher is responsible for guiding students learning in a prepared Montessori environment in 1st - 3rd grade - challenging each student to reach his/her fullest potential in a manner appropriate for their age group and in accordance with the schoolʼs mission, vision, and practices.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS minimum (M.ED, preferred).
- Montessori Elementary I and/or II certification or willingness to attain within twelve months of initial employment.

Qualifications:
- BA or BS minimum in an area in which one could obtain teacher certification for middle school (MS) or high school (HS).
- Demonstrated competency via education and/or teaching experience in the academic subject(s) responsible for teaching.

Paid teaching interns are placed into a multi-year career track under the guidance of a highly-qualified classroom instructor that ultimately leads to becoming a certified Montessori teacher at either the Pre-K or Elementary level. These part and full-time positions are for someone interested in pursuing a career in education or who already has teaching experience. All training and certification costs are covered by the school.

- BA or BS degree or currently completing coursework toward attainment - required for Elementary classroom interns.
