We are on day 2 of our annual Outreach Week. Today a group of students from the Madhurya Bhavan class visited Alachua area businesses and gave out cakes and books (Higher Taste cookbook, Perfection of Yoga, and Bhagavad-Gita). The only disappointment of the day was that they had to come back to school in time for lunch!

Our Food and Necessities collection box is setup at the school entrance. A few items have started to come in. We are asking each family to contribute at least 1 item. At the end of our collection these items will be delivered to a family in need via the New Raman Reti temple.
A note from the Bhaktivedanta Academy PTO: Teacher & Staff Appreciation gift card collections need to be turned in to Anapayini Jakupko (Srintath’s mom) by Wednesday afternoon. There are also forms and an envelope in the school office for Anapayini if you happen to miss her during pick-up and drop-off.
