Students in grade 3 and higher will be taking their spring MAP (Measures in Academic Progress) Growth assessment, this coming week. The MAP is a norm-referenced test that measures math, reading, and language skills. The data from this assessment help guide instruction and identify individual student academic goals.
Attendance is extremely important this week. If there is a circumstance that will prevent your child from attending school please contact the school office.
During test week please help your children be at their best by:
- Arriving at school by 8:00 a.m.;
- Getting a minimum of 8 hours of sleep;
- Eating a healthy breakfast;
- Bringing 1 or 2 books they can read;
- Ensuring they are relaxed and free from other worries.
