Below are some important reminders as we head into the last week of school:
Kurukshetra Field Day & Holi (No Temple Tuesday due to the date change of this event to accommodate out of town students.)
Tuesday is our annual Kurukshetra Field Day and Holi. It is a fun-filled day of activities that all the students really enjoy. This is a free dress day (no uniforms). Students are encouraged to wear/bring:
- Clothing they can be active in and don't mind getting stained.
- Sneakers or other closed toe active shoes.
- Another pair of footwear that can get wet (flip flops or water shoes are okay).
- A towel to dry off with and a change of clothes.
All students (including Krishna Sharanam MYP) are dismissed at 2 p.m. Aftercare is available. We are looking forward to a fun day together!
Camp Kulaqua Family Fun Day
We are looking forward to having our pre-k and elementary families together for a day of fun at Camp Kulaqua on Wednesday. There is no school. Our park reservation is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You are welcome to be in the park any time within these hours.
Admission wristbands will be sent home with everyone who reserved and paid on Tuesday. Anyone above the the age of 3 must have a wristband to enter the park.
The River Ranch Water Park is located at: 23400 NW 212 Ave, High Springs, FL 32643. From I-75 in Alachua, drive north on US 441 for 7 miles to the Camp Kulaqua sign on the right. (Just past High Springs). Turn right at camp sign. Proceed one mile to Camp Kulaqua main gate.
Camp Kulaqua is operated by a Christian organization. They request all visitors to wear only modest bathing attire.
Wild Adventures Middle Years Trip
Students in the Krishna Sharanam Middle Years class will be on an end of school year trip to Wild Adventures in Valdosta, GA on Wednesday. Participants will leave from the school parking lot at 8 a.m. and will return at 6 p.m. Jaya Sri Radhe can be contacted at

Cheer Day
Our last spirit day of the school year will be on Thursday (previously Tuesday). Students will be performing spirit day cheers at 1 p.m. on the lunch deck. Everyone is invited to come and join in on the fun. All students are dismissed at 2 p.m. Aftercare is available.
End of Year Ceremony
Bhaktivedanta Academy's end of year ceremony is on Friday. We will have recitations, songs and certificate presentations for our kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 6th grade students.
